Florida on Business

Almost the first thing I did as a staff member with Impact Campus Ministries was to attend the annual All-Staff Conference. This year afforded us time in Orlando, and it was a great way to get to know my new team. The weekend included time at the San Pedro Spiritual Development Center, a spontaneous trip to Kennedy Space Center (which involved getting stuck in “traffic” behind a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket), an evening at Disney Springs, and a couple of good walks around the neighborhood.

The rocket we followed on the road was heading off to launch some Starlink satellites (Flight 80), and another one already vertical on the pad was about to launch a Crew Dragon capsule for an in-flight abort test (Flight 79).
