Palouse Falls 2025

Over the weekend we checked off (what we wish was more of) a spring tradition—our trip to Palouse Falls. March or April is the best time to visit if you want to see the falls at full capacity. A warm and sunny forecast for the day had us in the mood for a little adventure, so we decided to grab some snacks, hop in the car, and go. Our last trip there was back in 2016, so we were long overdue for a visit.

Torin slept in the car most of the drive out, and never quite recovered from his post-nap fog, but overall both boys seemed to appreciate the waterfall (and rainbow with it), the cliffs, and the marmots we saw. A quick trip, but we considered it a success!

Darius picked up some binoculars at the store, and then Torin got some for his birthday, so these boys were geared up for checking out all of the wildlife.

Our drive out went through Colfax and Washtucna, but we chose Starbuck and Lewiston for the way back. The Snake River was about as smooth as glass—the cherry on top of our little adventure.

Brent and I discussed the above on episode 71 of Adventures with BAM.
